Role Description:
This part-time, on-site Medical Doctor role is based in Evergreen, CO. The Medical Doctor will provide direct patient care, including conducting medical histories and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, adjusting therapies, prescribing medications as appropriate, and documenting all encounters in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. The physician will collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to coordinate care, ensure patient safety, and promote high-quality clinical outcomes. Participation in case discussions, adherence to evidence-based guidelines, and engagement in ongoing professional development are expected.
Qualifications:
Possession of a valid MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited residency program in a relevant specialty. Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in the state of Colorado and active board certification or board eligibility in the appropriate specialty. Demonstrated clinical competence in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including safe prescribing practices and familiarity with current clinical guidelines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams. Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient-centered care, and adherence to regulatory, privacy, and documentation standards. Ability to work on-site in Evergreen, CO, manage part-time schedules, and maintain reliability and professionalism in a clinical environment. Experience in biomedical or clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, or teaching is beneficial but not required.
