VOS? Volunteer Over Shoulder! Needed for One-of-a-Kind Model Making Opportunity.

A one-of-a-kind opportunity is open for a volunteer to assist a model tank builder with the small print and fancy diagrams that don't work well with scan and read software. A local fellow who is legally blind but still builds remote control tanks and scale models needs a little bit of help for those items that are highly graphic. If you have an hour or two every other week or so, and can read and point to the right spot, you have a great volunteer opportunity waiting for you. It is easy to be helpful, Requirements to be a great volunteer include:desire to help others; pleasant demeanor; good reading/speaking voice; average reading skills; organizational or planning abilities; good driving record; clear criminal history; two referencesaccess to a car with proof of insurance; a minimum of $50/100k liability and $5,000 of property damage coverage. You must be in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York or Massachusetts, there is no relocation, passport, Visa or stipend available.
