Discharge Analyst HIM Tech

Job Title Collection, assembly and analysis of inpatient and outpatient surgery charts the day following discharge. Responsible for scanning discharges and any loose reports into the correct medical record using the QuickChart scanning process. Accurately files completed charts in permanent file using terminal digit order. Assist in department telephone calls and walk in requests as back-up. High school education or equivalent. Knowledge of office files equipment and procedures. Computer skills, minimally entry level. Must possess organizational skills. Positive attitude and team player.
