This role is critical in supporting project success by providing accurate, detailed, and competitive estimates that guide project planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for earthwork, paving, and related heavy civil projects
- Analyze plans, specifications, and subcontractor bids to develop accurate proposals
- Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to refine scope, schedule, and cost assumptions
- Maintain databases of historical costs, unit pricing, and vendor information
- Support business development by producing clear, competitive, and timely estimates
Qualifications:
- Proven experience estimating heavy civil construction projects, including earthwork and paving
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
