YouTube Video Editor

The Role: HardScope is looking for a talented and self-driven Video Editor to join our in-house production team. You'll own the edit across a slate of original programming, creator collaborations, and branded content working closely with our Studio and Production teams to bring concepts to life from rough cut to final delivery. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes creator content, moves fast without sacrificing quality, and knows instinctively what makes an audience stick around.

Qualifications: Proven experience editing long-form YouTube content with a strong understanding of what drives retention and performance on each platform. Deep familiarity with creator culture. You watch this content, you understand the format, and you don't need a crash course in the space. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics tools to execute lower thirds, transitions, and light animated elements independently. Experience editing branded or sponsored content, with the ability to integrate partner moments naturally into creator-driven storytelling without disrupting the viewer experience. Highly self-sufficient with strong project management instincts. Able to take a brief from raw footage to polished deliverable, manage versions, and hit deadlines in a fast-moving, high-output production environment.
