Maintenance Assistant

Responsibilities: Learn the operation and maintenance of production equipment, including Baler, Guillotine, Shredder, EREMA/VACUREMA, and other heavy machinery. Assist Maintenance Technicians with repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. Learn and safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting and corrective actions. Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports. Follow written and verbal instructions, safety procedures, and company policies. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Support the Maintenance Department with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills. Good attention to detail and willingness to learn. Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office experience preferred. Trade school or technical training is a plus. Previous maintenance or industrial experience is helpful but not required.
