This is a field-facing role focused on working directly with contractors, municipalities, and project stakeholders on the sale of pipe, valves, fittings, hydrants, and related underground utility products. It's a strong fit for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships and being close to the job site.
Position Overview:
The Sales Rep will manage the full project lifecycle from early opportunity identification through quoting and project completion while serving as a trusted resource for customers and growing a territory over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage relationships with contractors, municipalities, and project stakeholders
- Sell and support waterworks products including pipe, valves, fittings, hydrants, and underground utility materials
- Manage the full sales cycle, including quoting, order follow-up, and project support
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory
- Track opportunities and maintain pipeline visibility
Qualifications:
- Experience in waterworks, utility, or construction-related sales preferred
- Comfortable managing a territory and working in a field-based, relationship-driven role
- Ideally comes with an existing book of business, though the company is open to trainees and entry-level candidates with the right drive
