Director, Strategic Marketing & Communications Remote opportunity with some requirements to be at onsite meetings, events, etc.
About the Role: We are seeking a hands-on Director of Strategic Marketing & Communications who can translate business priorities into polished, high-impact marketing and communications. This role is ideal for a strong B2B marketer who enjoys both leading a small team and doing the work. One day you may be developing the storyline for an executive presentation; the next, partnering with business leaders on an MSP marketing strategy, drafting an internal communication, developing an award submission, or reviewing a digital campaign. This is not a narrowly focused digital marketing or demand generation role. We are looking for a versatile marketing leader with exceptional business judgment, writing and presentation skills who can take an idea or loosely defined request and independently turn it into a finished, executive-ready deliverable. What You’ll OwnLead, coach and develop a small marketing team while remaining actively involved in strategic and high-priority work. Develop executive-level PowerPoint presentations, transforming complex business information, data and leadership direction into clear, compelling stories. Lead B2B marketing initiatives supporting our healthcare workforce solutions and Managed Services Provider (MSP) business, including client marketing, sales enablement, thought leadership and strategic campaigns. Partner with VP of Marketing to translate business priorities into effective marketing strategies, presentations and communications Develop internal and executive communications supporting organizational priorities, business initiatives, employee engagement and change. Support PR and corporate reputation initiatives, including identifying award opportunities, developing submissions and coordinating supporting information. Manage multiple high-visibility projects and competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to quality, deadlines and business objectives. Provide strategic oversight across digital marketing, website, email, social and other marketing channels. Help establish clear priorities, processes and accountability across the marketing function. What You Bring
Required Qualifications: 8+ years of progressive B2B marketing and communications experience. Demonstrated experience leading and developing a small team while remaining comfortable as a hands-on contributor. Exceptional PowerPoint and executive presentation development skills, including the ability to develop the narrative and storyline—not simply design or format slides. B2B marketing experience within MSP, workforce solutions, staffing, healthcare services or another complex B2B services environment. Strong internal and executive communications experience. Excellent business writing, editing and storytelling skills. Experience supporting PR, corporate reputation and/or award programs. Demonstrated ability to work directly with senior executives and effectively navigate a complex, matrixed organization. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to take ambiguous direction, ask the right questions, identify what is needed and independently develop a polished final product. Strong sense of ownership, follow-through and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare workforce solutions, healthcare staffing or healthcare services experience. Website management and digital marketing experience. HubSpot experience and Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience. Marketing automation and CRM workflow experience. Sales enablement and client marketing experience.
