Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Hampton, VAWork Shift: First (Days)

Job Responsibilities: Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members. Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures. Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes. Productive and efficient in daily operations. Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures. Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs. For PACE and Resource Pool, incumbents must have at least one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population. Must possess State License and NBCOT Certification.

Education: Bachelor's Level Degree – Occupational Therapy

Experience: Previous occupational therapy experience (preferred)
