Part Time Security Officer

Part Time Security Officer Security officers are scheduled for various shifts, covering 24 hours a day 7 days a week. These shifts include weekends, midnight's and holidays. Part Time Officers schedules vary depending on departmental needs. This is a part time position that could require up to and including 24.5 hours per week. Performs walking and mobile patrol functions. Assists motorists with vehicle lock-outs and jumpstarts. Completes building openings and closings. Transports financial transactions as required from various departments. Completes bank run to local banks. Conducts parking and traffic enforcement and issues summonses when warranted. Completes incident and accident reports and submits them to the Director of Public Safety. Provides vehicle escorts to the inner campus. Assists local, state and federal agencies with criminal, motor vehicle and other applicable enforcement actions. Conducts cardio pulmonary resuscitation and AED lifesaving applications until the arrival of emergency units. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Public Safety.
