KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Define and execute recruitment strategyIdentify partner, counsel, associate and summer associate needsFacilitate strategic decision-making throughout the hiring processCollaborate with Hiring Partners to ensure the successful implementation of the firm's recruitment goalsEstablish effective relationships with third-party search firmsManage search firm agreementsBuild and deepen relationships with law school career services professionals and law student groupsExecute and plan for the firm's diversity fellowship programPlan and direct the firm's summer associate programCollaborate with the firm's Attorney Development teamEncourage involvement across the firmEstablish trust-based advisor relationships with firm leadershipLead the legal recruiting team collectively and individuallyManage and analyze firm-wide recruiting dataDevelop attorney interviewer trainings for all levels of legal recruitmentMaintain library of recruitment resourcesDirect efforts to consistently improve the candidate experiencePartner in the firm's strategic efforts to recruit and retain diverse talentWork with the Marketing Team to develop recruitment collateral for candidates, search firms and law student outreach effortsOversee the firm's participation in legal industry surveys and related firm profilesPrepare, manage and track recruitment related expenses to a detailed annual budgetQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred 8+ years of relevant Legal Recruiting in a law firm environmentDemonstrated experience managing attorney recruitment and effectively leading a teamStrong knowledge of Microsoft ExcelMust be innovative, analytical and have a collaborative approach to problem solvingExcellent interpersonal skills and experience working with executives on plan and execution of strategic goalsDistinguished leadership qualities and superb communication skillsStrong ability to collaborate with senior executivesSound judgment and discretion
