The Finance Intern, reporting into the Finance Manager, will gain exposure to manufacturing financial planning & analysis for our Drinking Water Business Unit. The Intern will provide support to the finance team by performing the following duties:* Partner with Finance and business team on forecast process* Reporting improvements/variance analysis* Profitability analysis – customer/product focused* Reviewing product costs* NPD business case development with cross functional team* Operational metrics for manufacturing* Complete special projects as neededQualifications:* Pursuing a 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong Excel skills involving pivot tables and macros.* Ability to work with others, but highly self-motivated to achieve individual tasks efficiently* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail* Able to work 40 hours per week during the summerCapabilities and Success Factors* Business Insight – Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals.* Manages Complexity – Making sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.* Drives Results – Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.* Ensures Accountability – Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.* Instills Trust – Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
