Patient Transporter - Per Diem

JOB LOCATION: Wilkes-Barre General Hospital JOB SHIFT – Per Diem Job Purpose The aide is responsible to transport patients throughout the hospital in a safe, friendly, timely, and efficient manner according to department standards and training. The aide will provide screening of people entering the hospital as assigned. Position Qualifications Education: Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes: Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not necessary. Good verbal expression and comprehension; ability to quickly establish rapport, confidence, and trust; personable and tactful; high regard for safety; phone manners. Licenses/Certificates: BLS is required and must be completed prior to the end of the orientation period
