School Nutrition Substitutes - District-Wide We are looking for friendly and positive individuals with a willingness to learn, no experience necessary. Work entails a variety of kitchen related jobs in a fast paced environment on school calendar days. That means weekends, school vacation, holidays and snow days off. Convenient lunch-time hours, 3-4 hours/day. Starting pay is $21.65 per hour. New employees with experience performing the identical job for a Maine School district will receive credit for years of service on the wage scale, up to $23.67/hr. The Yarmouth School Department, located ten miles north of Portland, Maine, serves students in Pre-K through grade 12 in four schools and is consistently recognized among the highest performing school districts in Maine, with two National Blue Ribbon School awards since 2018.
