HONOR A VETERAN ON HOSPICE

Our veterans have given so much in service to our country. Now, you can give something just asmeaningful--your time. We're seeking compassionate volunteers to provide companionship and support to veteran hospice patients in our community. Through conversation, shared stories, or simply being present, you can help ensure that no veteran feels alone during their final journey. As a veteran volunteer, you may;-Visit with veteran patients and provide companionship-Listen as they share stories, memories, and experiences-Read, play games, watch tv, or simply enjoy quiet conversation-Offer support that helps preserve dignity, comfort, and connection-Give family caregivers an opportunity to take a well-deserved break No medical experience is necessary. We provide training, ongoing support, and a flexible schedule that works with your availability. Join us in honoring those who served by ensuring every veteran receives the companionship, respect, and gratitude they deserve. Here at Heartland, we present each of our veterans with a thank you card, certificate and an American Flag pin to show our support. We would love to hear from you!
