Chemist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. Assist with quality control testing to ensure products meet established specifications. Prepare laboratory samples, solutions, and reagents in accordance with established procedures. Record, review, and maintain accurate laboratory and testing documentation. Assist with investigating out-of-specification or unexpected test results. Support product development, formulation, and process improvement activities as needed. Work closely with Production, Quality, and other internal teams to support manufacturing objectives. Follow established laboratory procedures, safety requirements, and chemical handling protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment. Assist with calibration, maintenance, and proper use of laboratory equipment. Support continuous improvement initiatives and other technical projects.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related scientific discipline.2+ years of relevant laboratory or manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply. Strong understanding of fundamental chemistry and laboratory practices. Ability to accurately follow written procedures and document laboratory results. Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications. Ability to safely work with chemicals and laboratory equipment.
