VA-Accredited Attorney

Your responsibilities will include: Representing veterans before the VA and the Board of Veterans' Appeals Conducting consultations with prospective clients Reviewing C-Files, service treatment records, and VA medical records Developing case strategy and identifying favorable legal and medical evidence Preparing veterans for Board hearings Conducting virtual Board hearings Drafting Statements in Support of Claim, legal briefs, motions, and correspondence Advising clients throughout the appeals process Working collaboratively with our legal support staff to move cases efficiently

Qualifications Required: Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction VA accreditation under 38 C.F.R. § 14.629 Experience representing veterans in VA disability claims and appeals Experience with the Appeals Modernization Act (AMA) Strong legal research and persuasive writing skills Excellent client communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred: Experience conducting Board of Veterans' Appeals hearings Familiarity with CAVC practice Experience reviewing complex medical evidence Experience supervising or mentoring legal staff
