The Manager – Insurance Accounting oversees accounting operations for specialty risk entities, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory standards. Collaborate with teams to enhance workflow integration, efficiencies, and proactive problem-solving initiatives. Lead the preparation of GAAP financial statements and regulatory filings for multiple entities. Analyze financial data and performance metrics to align with organizational goals and strategies. Provide leadership and accountability to ensure smooth operations and quality output. Support corporate teams with ad hoc responsibilities, including system implementations and business integration projects. Maintain detailed accounting records and controls, ensuring accurate journal entries and account reconciliations. Foster a diverse and inclusive culture that values employee perspectives and promotes excellence.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA certification preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience, with 6 years preferred. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with ERP software such as Oracle and Hyperion (HFM or FCCS).Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred experience in public accounting and insurance operations.
