Mortgage Originator (MLO)

Role Description: The Mortgage Guide (MLO) is a full-time, hybrid role based in Midlothian, VA, with flexibility to work from home once established. The MLO will use Get Wyz technology and buyer data to deliver a consistent, consultative experience rather than relying on cold calling or self-sourced lead generation.

Qualifications: Active MLO license with NMLS in good standing, ready to originate immediately. Mortgage origination, processing, lending, banking, or homebuying experience, ideally with purchase transactions including VA and FHA loans. A buyer-first, consultative communication style with the ability to explain complex mortgage topics clearly. Someone who is comfortable presenting options and letting the buyer choose. Comfortable working in a technology-enabled environment and using buyer data, systems, and workflows to guide conversations. Strong follow-through, organization, and judgment, with an interest in helping build a new mortgage operation alongside the Lead Guide.

Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $125,000 annually. This range represents a good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In exceptional cases, compensation may exceed the stated range. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in our annual incentive bonus program. Our Commitment: Health and Wellness: Get Wyz covers 100% of employee health premiums. Health, vision, and dental take effect on the first of the month after you start. Time Off: 10 paid holidays plus 22 PTO days, two of which are flex holidays.
