Experienced Food Truck Operator / Lead

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Truck Operator / Lead to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every order Operate POS system for processing sales, orders, and transactions accurately Manage customer orders efficiently, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards Oversee cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly Lead the team in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively during service hours Ensure timely food preparation while managing time effectively during busy periods to maximize service speed Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers professionally and resolving any issues promptly Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed Train new team members on food preparation techniques, POS operation, safety protocols, and customer service standards

Qualifications: Proven experience as a Food Truck Operator or in a quick service/fast food restaurant environment with culinary expertise Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety management, sanitation practices, and kitchen equipment operation Familiarity with POS systems for sales processing and order management Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service efficiently Demonstrated ability in sales techniques including upselling to increase revenue opportunities Experience in cashiering, cash handling, retail sales transactions, and food industry standards Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to maintain a clean workspace while adhering to health regulations and safety standards Basic math skills for accurate cash register operations and inventory management Previous experience working in food trucks, cafes, grocery stores or similar fast-paced environments is highly desirable Previous experience and comfort level with driving/navigating to activation sites a 26' truck.
