Outside HVAC Sales Representative

N.E.T.R., Inc., a leading Greater Boston HVAC contractor, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow residential and light commercial business in high-efficiency heating and cooling solutions. In this field-based role, you’ll prospect and qualify leads, conduct on-site assessments, and present tailored proposals for ductless mini-split and heat pump systems. You’ll own the full sales cycle, collaborate closely with technical teams, and build lasting customer relationships. Prospect and qualify residential and light commercial customers for HVAC solutions Conduct on-site visits to assess needs and recommend high-efficiency systems Prepare and present professional proposals and pricing options Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close Build and maintain long-term customer relationships Collaborate with installation and service teams to ensure smooth project handoff Maintain accurate records in CRM and track pipeline activity Stay current on HVAC products, incentives, and financing options Outside/field sales Consultative selling HVAC product knowledge Construction/home services familiarity Lead generation and prospecting CRM and pipeline management Proposal development and pricing Site assessment and measuring Negotiation and closing Customer relationship management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Familiarity with HVAC systems, ductless mini-splits, or heat pumps Sales training or certification in consultative/solution selling (preferred) OSHA-10 or similar safety training (preferred)
