Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and institutional building projects. Perform heating and cooling load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork and piping design. Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Support projects from initial design through construction administration. Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, ASHRAE standards, and energy-efficiency requirements.

What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Ideally 5–7 years of mechanical/HVAC design experience within an MEP consulting environment. Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and building mechanical services. Experience using Revit and AutoCAD.Familiarity with NYC building codes and relevant industry standards. Strong communication and project coordination skills. Plumbing and/or Fire Protection (PFP) design experience is a strong plus, but not required. EIT certification or PE license is advantageous but not essential.
