Job Full DescriptionMECHANINAL ASSEMBLER - MAGNETICSFirst Shift M- F 7:00 am to 3:30 p.m.
SUMMARY: Perform the assembly work of the mechanical structures to produce Current and Power transformers. QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree); or 1-3 months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Read work instructions, do math calculations, and use associated tools to perform the work tasks. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals in English. Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the 8 hour shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Read production diagrams and production sheets instructions for assembly. Proficiency in the use of tools needed for the mechanical assembly of the products. Solder terminals to magnet wire. Check Transformer for exposed wires. Clean transformers after resin process. Complete the final assembly including placing hardware on finished products. Be able to lift to 50 lbs. Follow safety rules, instructions, guidelines, and procedures. WORK ENVIRONMENTThis is not a remote position.
