Your New CompanyA rapidly expanding, private equity-backed organization that is growing through strategic acquisitions are seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of the accounting function for the South Florida operation.
Your Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day accounting operations for the Florida business. Oversee month-end close and financial reporting activities. Ensure financial statements are accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant. Support consolidation and reporting requirements for corporate leadership and ownership groups. Lead the transition from Quick Books to Foundation software. Evaluate and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures. Collaborate with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Work alongside an established accounting team, including AP, AR, and accounting support staff. Assist with acquisition integration activities and future growth initiatives. What You Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.4+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Experience managing full-cycle accounting and month-end close. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong systems aptitude and process improvement mindset. Experience with Quick Books, Foundation, or ERP implementations is highly preferred. Prior construction, manufacturing, home services, or multi-entity experience is a plus.
