Apply for this role →Process Technician - Injection Molding We're seeking an experienced Process Technician Injection Molding to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, optimizing production processes, solving technical challenges, and producing high-quality products. If you have experience with injection molding equipment and take pride in maintaining efficient, consistent production, this could be an excellent opportunity.
What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate injection molding machines and related equipment
- Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot molding processes
- Adjust machine settings, temperatures, pressures, molds, and cycle times to optimize production
- Monitor product quality and identify defects or process inconsistencies
- Maintain accurate process documentation and machine records
- Assist with mold changeovers and production setup activities
- Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment readiness
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and auxiliary equipment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production standards
What We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of injection molding experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with injection molding equipment such as Arburg, Engel, Husky, or similar machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and process documentation
- Familiarity with mold changeovers and process validation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation or robotics in molding operations
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, or other regulated manufacturing environments
- Continuous improvement or process optimization experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the production area
- Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
