Pay Rate:
$23.00/hrShift: 1stJob Title: Foundry Associate M-F 2:30pm - 11PM OTWe are seeking a reliable Foundry Associate to join our metal manufacturing team specializing in aluminum casting. This role involves working in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment to produce quality metal components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate furnaces to melt aluminum and monitor temperatures
- Prepare sand or permanent molds for casting processes
- Pour molten metal safely into molds following proper procedures
- Perform shakeout and remove castings from molds
- Clean, grind, and finish cast parts to meet specifications
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in foundry or metal manufacturing preferred
- Ability to work in high-heat environments and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of casting processes (aluminum preferred)
- Experience with hand tools, grinders, and finishing equipment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
