OTR | Occupational Therapist

Requirements: Professional competency as a general practitioner of occupational therapy, with the ability to tailor functional goals and treatment techniques across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Strong interpersonal skills to foster cooperative relationships with patients and colleagues. Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal. FIM credentialing must be obtained within the first 45 days of employment, requiring a minimum proficiency score of 80%, with up to three attempts allowed. Completion of Evacuation Training and training in Restraint, Seclusion, and Safety Devices is mandatory for clinical staff serving inpatient and outpatient areas. Physical ability to communicate effectively, assess patient status visually and auditorily, and safely transfer and transport patients of varying body weights. Capability to stand, bend, stoop, lift, turn, twist, sit, and walk frequently, demonstrating proper use and manipulation of equipment.
