Responsibilitiesand
Duties:
Performsitegradingandoverseecivilconstructionactivitiesforindustrial, solar, andwindenergyprojects, includingroadimprovementsandmaintenance, drainagesystems, dewatering, soilstabilization, foundationexcavationandbackfill, utilities, andothernecessarysiteimprovements.
Collaboratewithsubcontractorstoplanandexecutework, interpretprojectspecifications, andcoordinatemultiplephasesofconstructiontoensuretimelyprojectcompletion.
Monitorworkinprogresstoensurecompliancewithprojectspecifications, qualitystandards, andconstructionschedulesthroughregularcommunicationwiththe Project Managerand General Superintendent.
Manageandleadafieldworkforceofapproximately 5to 25teammembers, includingequipmentoperatorsandlaborers.
Supportthe Project Managerinmaterialprocurement, scheduling, andprojectdocumentationtomaintainprojectefficiency.
Enforcecompanysafetypoliciesandensureallpersonnelcomplywithestablishedsafetystandardsandprojectrequirements.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Minimumof 10yearsofexperienceinheavycivilconstruction
Provenabilitytoleadteamseffectivelyinchallenginganddynamicenvironments
Strongverbal, written, andinterpersonalcommunicationskills
Demonstratedabilitytomanagemultipleoperationsandprioritiessimultaneously
Commitmenttofosteringandmaintainingasafeworkenvironment
Reliable, self-motivated, andproactivewithstrongfollow-through
Strongproblem-solvingskillswiththeabilitytoadapttochangingconditions
