Providing advanced expertise and leadership in clinical applications, the full-time remote Health Systems Informatics Consultant will develop, implement, and support clinical systems for medication management, ensuring safety and compliance across the pharmacy enterprise.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of clinical applications and pharmacy automation
Evaluate workflows and system performance, identifying risks and improvement opportunities
Serve as a liaison among Pharmacy Informatics, pharmacy operations, and IT teams to align technology solutions with clinical needs
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree in a relevant field is desirable
6 years of relevant experience required; 8-12 years preferred
Knowledge of pharmacy operations, clinical practice, and information systems
Experience in developing and supporting clinical application systems
Ability to promote team standards and foster a positive team culture
