As the Logistics Specialist, you'll coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, support accurate inventory and system records, and partner with procurement, planning, and warehouse teams to resolve shipment issues and keep priorities on track. You'll also help improve processes, support freight claims and audits, and contribute to a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment. This position will have evolving responsibilities as the facility approaches the planned production start date in 2027.
Primary Ongoing Responsibilities:
Balance inbound/outbound workload Document and communicate discrepancies; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions Manage inbound freight claims Ensure alignment with the procurement and planning teams on material availability and shipment priorities Develop processes for the position Ensure receipts, inventory records and system balance accuracy Regular review or processes for continuous improvement Ensure a SAFE & Clean Work Environment Support inventory reconciliation activities and dock audits We value our employees by providing: Competitive compensation based on skills Industry leading health, dental, and vision plans Generous 401 (K) savings and profit sharing On-site UW Health clinic, fitness center, and walking paths Education assistance and internal training programs Electric vehicle charging Maternity & paternity leave This position requires a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended. Qualifications Required: Associates or better.
Preferred: Associates or better in Supply Chain.
Required:
Microsoft Office proficiency 2 - 4 Years of experience in a warehouse environment.
Preferred:
Working experience with MRP and/or warehousing system(s) – SAP preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
