Engineering Manager - Applied AI

About the Role: They need a hands-on AI Engineering Manager to lead the build. This is a player-coach position. You will lead a team of engineers while staying close to the code, architecting, building, and deploying AI-enabled applications and agentic workflows that make internal operations faster and smarter.

Responsibilities: Architect, build, and deploy AI applications and workflows Write production code and stay hands-on with technical delivery Lead engineers and set technical direction across AI initiatives Translate business requirements into working prototypes and solutions Integrate AI with enterprise systems, Microsoft 365, and operational platforms Partner directly with senior business leaders and executives Drive projects from scope through deployment and adoption Focus Area Corporate Operations: Finance, Accounting, ERP, HR, and enterprise systems Operations: Field service, maintenance, planning/dispatch, and technician enablement Engineering & Construction: Project delivery, estimating, design, and project controls Qualifications 7+ years building software, with recent hands-on coding

Required Skills: Personally designed, built, and deployed AI applications or workflows (you'll be asked to walk through one)Strong Python, Type Script/Java Script, C#, Java, or similar Experience with LLM APIs, agentic AI, and AI coding assistants (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT)Azure experience (required)Enterprise systems and integration experience
