Summary: Lead mechanical design and electronics packaging for high-speed networking hardware systems. Develop SolidWorks CAD models, detailed documentation, and GD&T specifications for fabrication and assembly. Conduct thermal and mechanical simulations in Ansys while integrating EMI/EMC shielding and environmental sealing. Qualifications &Compensation:

Total Compensation: $254k+ yearly (tentative)

Job Description: Drive mechanical hardware development and electronic packaging for networking devices within datacenter rack constraints. Perform finite element analysis, including thermal and structural modeling in Ansys. Create and maintain precision CAD models, engineering drawings, and GD&T documentation using SolidWorks. Implement EMI/EMC shielding and environmental sealing solutions to ensure hardware integrity. Collaborate with electrical engineering teams and leverage Agile/Scrum methodologies to coordinate prototype bring-up. Partner with fabrication vendors to oversee parts manufacturing, quality inspection, and final assembly.
