Apply for this role →Blow Mold Production Technician The Blow Mold Production Technician monitors automated production equipment, maintains supply of production materials, inspects parts, operates forklift, and various other tasks, all with a major emphasis on quality and safety.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operates production machinery in accordance with specifications
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance
- Understands the processing aspects of equipment, performs quality checks, and reports any defects to shift Leadership and QAPerforms bottle testing procedures and enters data into SPC collection center
- Makes processing adjustments to the machine as needed
- Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations
- Interested in Continuous Improvement and able to thrive in a self-directed environment
Education and Experience:
HS Diploma/GED Required. Three years of relevant experience (one employer) may be substituted At least one year of related experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods working on feet
- Must be able push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
