TheQA/QCManagerensuresthatprojectteamsfollowHGAstandards, industrycodes, andclient-specificrequirementswhiledrivingacultureofqualityandaccountability. KeyResponsibilitiesManageandmaintainHGA'sengineeringanddesignQA/QCprogram, standards, andprocedures. Conductqualityauditsonengineeringdeliverables, includingcalculations, drawings, specifications, anddesignpackages. Collaboratewithengineeringanddesigndisciplinedepartmentmanagersandleadstoidentifygaps, correctiveactions, andopportunitiesforimprovement. Developandupdatequalitymetrics, checklists, templates, anddocumentation. Ensurecompliancewithapplicablecodes, standards, andregulatoryrequirements. LeadRCA(RootCauseAnalysis)and Lesson(s) Learnedactivitiestiedtoqualityissuesandimplementpreventativemeasures. TrainengineeringanddesignstaffonQA/QCprocessesandexpectations. Coordinatewith ProjectManagerstoconfirmadherencetoqualitystandardsthroughoutprojectlifecycle. Participateinproposaldevelopmentbyprovidingquality-relatedinputsandstaffingconsiderations. Serveasthesubject-matterexpertforengineeringqualitymanagementsystems. Occasionallysupportexecutionofprojectsasaleadorkeycontributorinrespectivediscipline.
Qualifications:
Bachelor'sdegreein Engineeringorarelatedtechnicalfieldrequired. Professional Engineering(PE)licenseispreferred. Minimumten(10)yearsofengineering, design, ortechnicalQA/QCexperience. Familiaritywithmulti-disciplinedesignandindustrialprojectenvironments. Strongknowledgeofengineeringqualitystandards, audits, anddocumentationpractices. ExperienceimplementingorimprovingQA/QCprogramswithinanEPCorengineeringservicesenvironmentpreferred. Excellentanalytical, communication, andprocess-developmentskills. CandidatesmustbewithincommutingdistancefromoneofHGA'sengineeringofficeslocatedin Ruston, LA, Shreveport, LA, TheWoodlands, TX, orBatonRouge, LA.
