Role Description: The Commercial Loan Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbia, TN. This position supports the commercial lending team by preparing, reviewing, and maintaining loan documentation for commercial and commercial real estate loans. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing loan setups, modifications, renewals, and payoffs, ensuring accurate data entry into loan servicing systems, and monitoring loan files for completeness and compliance with bank policies and regulations. The role also involves coordinating with lenders, credit staff, and external partners to gather required information, resolve documentation issues, and support timely closings. The administrator responds to inquiries, provides internal reporting on loan portfolios, and helps maintain organized records to support audits and quality control.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess skills in loan servicing and administering commercial loan portfolios. Candidates should possess skills in preparing, reviewing, and managing loan documents. Candidates should possess skills related to commercial loans, including structuring, monitoring, and general loan operations. Candidates should possess foundational finance skills, including understanding interest, fees, amortization, and credit concepts. Candidates should possess familiarity with commercial real estate lending, including collateral requirements and documentation standards. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency with banking or loan management software and standard office applications (e.g., Excel, Word).Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Previous experience in commercial banking, loan administration, or a related financial services role preferred. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
