Radiologic Science Clinical Instructional Asst.- Part-time

Radiologic Science Clinical Instructional Assistant The School of Nursing and Health Science seeks dynamic Radiologic Science Clinical Instructional Assistant to provide teaching and evaluations for radiologic sciences students in practice settings and simulated settings. Responsibilities include supervising clinical/laboratory practice experiences, evaluating student clinical performance and achievement of required competencies, adhering to the School of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Department of Radiologic Sciences guidelines/protocols/policies, attending scheduled Department meetings as needed, traveling to various clinical facilities, and occasionally assisting with classroom instruction or instructional activities as needed. This is considered a Position of Trust. Required Qualifications include an associate degree in Radiologic Sciences, holding American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) current registration in radiography, being in good standing with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT), current health care provider CPR certification and immunizations, possessing a current valid drivers license, and minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a radiographer. Preferred Qualifications include a baccalaureate degree and additional modality credentialing. Proposed Salary is $35.00 per hour with an associate degree, $40.00 per hour with a baccalaureate degree, and $45.00 per hour with a masters degree. Abilities include the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of students, and skills include excellent oral and communication skills.
