Night Sanitation

Description: The work for this position takes place in production facilities. The production rooms are equipped with a refrigeration system that sustains the temperature at 35°-45° F. The room is also equipped with long tables used for processing meat products; machinery used to grind meat; warehouse machinery and conveyor belts to transport boxes. The room is well-lit and has a level concrete floor that can be wet. The production room is also equipped with a loading dock and heavy-duty rack shelving to house product.Description of Job Tasks:* Remove all trash and debris from the production room* Clean and sanitize all floors and gutters using best practices* Complete breakdown of machinery* Clean and sanitize (using hot water) equipment and walls using best practices* Squeegee all floors, walls, and ceilings* Clean and organize all chemicals and tools used in cleaning and sanitizing procedure* Adhere to all safety protocols and GMPsPhysical Requirements/Environment:* Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials* Requires prolonged standing during work hours* Requires stooping, kneeling, bending and reaching* Must work in noisy and crowded environments* Must work in and around and odorsSafety Clothing/Equipment:* Must comply with company dress code* Layered clothing is advised* *Company Provided*: safety goggles, water-resistant boots, trouser, gloves, and coatTools Used: Squeegee, Pressure Washer, Chemical Rinse
