Senior Tax Associate – Alternative Investments New York, NYThe Opportunity We're partnering with a leading global alternative asset manager with a significant credit and real estate platform to hire a Tax Senior.
Responsibilities: Review investor tax deliverables (K-1s, K-3s) and manage preparation of Forms 1042-S and 8805 for foreign investors Draft quarterly LP tax estimate letters and assist with projected tax liability calculations Review federal and state partnership returns; analyze books and records across funds and SPVsCoordinate with Big Four and other external advisors, managing information flow and reviewing work product Support year-end tax planning, deliverables, and deadlines across internal and external stakeholders Assist with investment-related tax research and special projects across the credit platform Qualifications 2–4 years of tax experience in public accounting and/or financial services Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Tax, or related field Partnership taxation and investment fund experience; exposure to credit, hedge, PE, or real estate strategies preferred Familiarity with K-1s, K-3s, withholding, and investor reporting Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power PointCPA license or progress toward it (minimum 3 sections passed)For more information on this or other tax opportunities, contact kyla.jackson@jcwgroup.com
