Compensation Range: $24.00 - $32.00
Responsibilities: Read schematics, diagrams, blueprints in order to perform diagnostic and repairs Perform on-site repairs in the field as needed as well as overhead door and dock equipment maintenance if requested Service, repair, install and perform maintenance requests on commercial dock doors, dock equipment, high speed rolling doors, and commercial entry doors Design, fabricate and weld warehouse aftermarket product line Perform maintenance and install EOD's, dock levelers, vehicle restraints, scissor lifts, dock seals and shelters, freight lifts and others as required Knowledge and understanding of warehouse racking systems is a PLUSBasic mechanic skills are a must for job performance Adjust, lay-out, position, align and fit components required at each job site Requirements and KSAsCommercial dock and overhead door experience preferred High school diploma or GED equivalent required Proficient fitting and welding from shop blueprintsMIG and ARC welding experience preferred Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting Basic math skills involving measurements and installations Computer and tablet proficient to maintain inventory and work orders Customer Service skills Strong time management skills Self-motivated Valid and Insurable driver's license and the ability to pass a drug screening Ability to continuously lift and bend, climb ladders up to 20' in height, work on knees for extended periods of time, and proficient operating power tools Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time Able to sit, stand, push, pull, stoop, bend, kneel crouch, reach, climb, or crawl on a frequent basis Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs. Able to withstand exposure to hot, cold, wet, or other weather-related conditions
