Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-time Tool and Diemaker Fourslide to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of fourslide (four-slide) machines, tooling, and setup procedures. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality parts and components using fourslide technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, fabricate, and maintain tools, dies, and fixtures for fourslide machines
- Set up and operate fourslide machines for various production runs
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create precise tooling
- Perform complex machining operations using various machine tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling, dies, and fourslide machines
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on fourslide equipment
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
- Train and mentor junior team members on fourslide operations and best practices
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop innovative solutions
- Maintain accurate records of tool and die designs, modifications, and maintenance
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices
- Qualifications and SkillsProven experience as a Tool and Diemaker with a strong focus on fourslide technology
- In-depth knowledge of fourslide (four-slide) machines, their operation, and setup procedures
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent understanding of metalworking principles, materials, and machining techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Hands-on experience with various machine tools and precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming is a plus
- Good mathematical skills and attention to detail
