About the position: The Robbinsville Board of Education is seeking a dynamic, student-centered educational leader to serve as Assistant Principal of Pond Road Middle School for the 2026 to 2027 school year. The district is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and collaborative Interim Assistant Principalto provide instructional leadership, operational oversight, and student support for our middle school community. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of middle school adolescent development, a proven track record in positive behavior interventions, and strong communication skills to ensure a seamless transition and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment. About the District: Located in Mercer County, just 10 minutes off exit 6 on 195; Robbinsville School District is comprised of three schools, Sharon Elementary School (Prek-4), Pond Road Middle School (Prek,5-8) and Robbinsville High School (9-12) totaling approximately 3,200 students. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, School Administration, or a related field Valid NJ Principal Certification Minimum of 5 years of successful middle school teaching and/or administrative experience

Preferred Qualifications: Prior administrative or leadership experience in a middle school setting Demonstrated leadership in middle school climate, student discipline, and teacher evaluation Excellent interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, crisis management, and data-driven decision-making New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), requires employees of all school boards to reside in the State of New Jersey unless otherwise exempted under the law.
