R&D Engineering Technician

Duration: 6+ month contract with possible extension

Pay Rate: $27–$32/hour, depending on experience

CsPosition Overview: The R&D Engineering Technician I will support new product and technology development through experimental planning, feasibility testing, data analysis, laboratory testing, and technical reporting. This role is well suited for a Mechanical Engineering or Bio-Mechanical Engineering graduate interested in hands-on R&D, product development, laboratory testing, and medical device/medical technology engineering.

Key Responsibilities: Independently plan and perform experiments supporting new product or technology feasibility testing. Critically analyze data generated from experiments and interpret results. Report experimental findings to R&D management and peers. Identify and communicate product development implications arising from experimental results. Prepare technical reports as required. Maintain scientific equipment to support technical objectives and meet regulatory and governance requirements. Maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) consistent with product development objectives and regulatory guidelines. Interface with engineering teams to support experimental design. Perform testing of experimentally produced products as required. Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Bio-Mechanical Engineering Ideal Background Candidates with academic, internship, laboratory, or professional exposure related to Mechanical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, R&D, product development, experimental testing, feasibility testing, data analysis, laboratory equipment, or GLP environments may find this opportunity especially relevant.
