Team members contribute to delivering high-performance logistics technology that supports the #Delivering TheCoolestThings mission.
Role Description:
The Deposco WMS Analyst will own the configuration, health, and performance of ColdTrack’s Deposco WMS across our fulfillment network. This is a lead-level role. You will be the sole go-to expert for how Deposco is configured, how it connects to ColdTrack Live (CTL) and our customers’ systems, and how we measure its performance. You will set a high bar for establishing best-in-industry and user friendly processes. You will translate operational needs into clear WMS configuration and workflow rules, troubleshoot integration issues, investigate discrepancies through audit trails, and serve as the primary point of contact with Deposco’s support team. You will work closely with operations, engineering, tech ops and partner support to make the system easier to use and more reliable for everyone who depends on it.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the WMS: Serve as the subject-matter expert and system owner for Deposco, including configuration, workflow rules, and documentation of how the system is set up and why.
Configuration & Workflow Management: Design, test, and deploy WMS configuration changes and workflow rules (e.g., order handling, warehouse assignment, carrier and service selection, packaging logic) with appropriate change control.
Reporting, Metrics & Audit Investigations: Build and maintain reporting on key WMS and fulfillment metrics. Investigate order-level discrepancies (holds, carrier changes, SKU or inventory changes) using audit trails and system data, and report on root cause.
Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison with Deposco support. Log, track, and escalate tickets, and stay informed on releases and new features that affect our operations.
Process & Change Management: Roll out new WMS processes and configuration changes to warehouse operators, gain their buy-in, and provide training and documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering and partner support to write clear requirements documents and prioritize WMS enhancements.
Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring exceptions and bottlenecks, and propose configuration or process improvements that reduce manual work and errors.
Requirements
Experience:
5+ years in WMS administration, configuration, or analysis within cold/frozen shipping, 3PL, or fulfillment environments. Hands-on experience configuring a WMS. Deposco experience is strongly preferred; experience with a comparable WMS is acceptable. Experience managing client relationships and working with technical and engineering teams.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets is required.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations: receiving, inventory, order allocation, picking, packing, and shipping.
Familiarity with order management or proprietary fulfillment systems is a plus.
Education:
A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and written communication skills, including the ability to write clear requirements and documentation. Ability to implement change and work with diverse stakeholders across operations. Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and building structure where little exists. Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment. Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Preffered Location & Work Structure: Remote role supporting both EST and PST operations.
Travel:
Quarterly travel to warehouse locations, with potential for more in the future (as needed). This role has evolving responsibilities, so the ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable working to firm deadlines in a dynamic, remote setting.
