Job Description: Job Description Metro Dermatology is looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, bi/multi-lingual, career-minded, and experienced medical assistants to join our dynamic and fast-paced team at our flagship location, 144-72 Northern Boulevard, Flushing Metro Dermatology of NY/NJ is a high-volume and rapidly growing medical and aesthetic dermatology practice, serving diverse communities in the Bronx, Flushing, Elmhurst, Glen Oaks, and Fort Lee, NJ. All full-time employees are eligible to sign up for the Practice's competitive health, dental, and vision plans after thirty days of start date Responsibilities include: Assisting providers with procedures and surgeries, phlebotomy, prescriptions, and maintaining efficient patient flow. Assisting patients with laser and phototherapy treatments Communicating with patients, pharmacies, and insurance companies to assist with any questions, prescription inquiries, and prior authorizations. Triaging and collecting patient histories, charting and completing documentation, prepping and maintaining sterile examination and operating rooms, and restocking and ordering supplies as needed.
