McKenzie Craft is a 25,000 sq ft custom millwork shop in Miami, FL serving high-end hospitality, retail, and luxury residential clients. We are hiring a Shop Porter to keep our facility clean, safe, and organized so our craftsmen can focus on the work.
What you will do:
- Sweep, mop, and dust throughout the shop continuously during the day
- Clean bathrooms, kitchen, and break rooms and keep them in good condition
- Run daily, weekly, and closing facility checklists
- Operate forklifts and company vehicles for shop and yard logistics
- Pack, wrap, label, and load finished millwork for outbound delivery
- Pick up materials from local vendors and support shop staging
- Spot building issues and report them before they slow production
What you bring:
- Available to work 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. — punctuality is a must
- Responsible and reliable; shows up on time every day
- Able to stay on your feet and keep moving throughout the shift — this role has heavy cleaning duties; scheduled breaks are provided throughout the day
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Forklift experience or willingness to be trained and certified
- Reliable and punctual; able to take direction
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass background screening
- Hourly, non-exempt. Reports to the Production Foreman.
