Job Description
Apartment Maintenance Technician: Hire Priority Staffing is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Austin, 78731. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, hands-on maintenance professional who can respond to service requests, support unit turns, and help keep the community clean, functional, and resident-ready. We are looking for someone with strong apartment maintenance experience who can troubleshoot issues efficiently, work well with residents and team members, and deliver quality service in a fast-paced property environment.

Pay: $25 - $28
Position Type: Full-Time / Temp /Temp-to-Hire
Location: Austin, 78731
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
  • Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and general maintenance issues
  • Support make ready work and help prepare vacant units for new resident move-inPerform preventative maintenance and general repair tasks as assigned
  • Help maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the community
  • Work closely with property management and maintenance staff to prioritize daily work orders
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents while completing maintenance tasks
  • Assist with general property upkeep and additional maintenance support as needed
Qualifications:
  • Previous apartment maintenance experience preferredEPA certification required
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance repairs
  • Make ready experience is a plus
  • Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to provide valid identification, proof of authorization to work in the United States, and complete the application and interview process
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
