Job TitleTravel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights) Location Denver, CO | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AMKey Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to laboring, antepartum, and EDOB patients on a 26-bed Labor & Delivery unit Assist with and support procedures including cesarean sections and cerclages Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 for antepartum patients and 1:1 or 1:2 for laboring patients (estimated ratios, subject to change based on unit needs) Utilize Alaris pumps and document patient care using Meditech and CPN charting systems Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and ORT staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of current Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or Compact license eligibility)BLS certification requiredACLS certification requiredNRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification requiredAWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification required
- Preferred Experience / SkillsMother-baby or couplet care experience
- Antepartum and/or high-risk Labor & Delivery experience
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR or CPN charting systems
