Bay Area Foot Care is a leading podiatry practice in the Bay Area dedicated to helping people of all ages and lifestyles get back to enjoying the activities they love. We have 15 convenient locations in the East Bay, North Bay, San Francisco, and Peninsula. Job Type Full-time
Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients on the phone and in person
  • Place patients in the exam rooms
  • Take vital signs of patients
  • Assist and setup up for examination, treatment, and procedures
  • Keep accurate patient files
  • Apply dressing, bandages, and splints as ordered by podiatrist
  • Maintain a sanitized and safe working environment
  • Maintain HIPAARequirementsCritical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision
  • Strong computer skills and use of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of basic medical procedures such as dressing a wound
  • Strong communication skills and ability to actively listen
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Strong organizational and clerical skills to maintain patient files and perform office duties
  • Customer services skills
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
Education And Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
  • Certification from an approved medical assistant program or equivalent combination of trainingEMR Experience, Athena experience is a plus
