Welder - 2nd shift

Job Description: Welder - 2nd Shift Advance Services, Inc. is looking to hire production welders in Grand Island, NE. This position is perfect for individuals with welding experience who are committed to producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job duties include performing minor to advanced welding processes on galvanized or raw steel per print specifications, operating flame cutting equipment, selecting proper voltage, current, heat, gas, and feed settings for welding operations, moving material as needed using carts, hoists, and other handling means, preparing for necessary weld operations through proper machine and jig setups, performing first piece approval using appropriate quality control tools, assisting in the training and direction of less experienced welding personnel in proper technique, methods, quality standards, and safety equipment, performing all duties safely and efficiently utilizing required safety equipment, keeping work area neat and orderly, reporting unsafe conditions to supervisor, completing required production records and reports, keeping accurate record of labor on daily time card, and evaluating and confirming daily time keep in the systems for accurate records. Pay ranges from $20-$30/hr DOE.

Shift: 2nd.
