Apply for this role →Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager | Hollywood, FL | $130k - $170kThere’s a Partner seat at this firm opening within the next 4 years. One of the current Partners is planning to retire, and the firm wants to hire someone now who can grow into that role rather than scramble for a replacement later. So the path here is pretty clear. Join as a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager, build trust with the client base, become the person the Partners rely on technically and commercially, slowly take on more responsibility as that retirement gets closer...then step into Partnership. That’s the opportunity. The culture is just as important. It’s a small, established CPA firm where people are trusted to do their jobs, flexibility is normal and there’s very little micromanagement. You’ll start hybrid, with flexible working hours, and there’s potential for the role to become fully remote further down the line. I placed a Senior with the firm last year and the feedback has been excellent, particularly around the Partners, flexibility and how people are treated day to day. They’re looking for a CPA with strong Public Accounting experience across 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120 and 1041 work, ideally with Trust & Estate and Real Estate exposure. Someone who can work independently, handle clients well, mentor the team and gradually take more off the existing Partners’ plates. If you want another Tax Manager title, there are plenty around, but if you want to join a firm knowing exactly why a Partner opportunity is going to exist, that’s a much rarer conversation.
